The door of the elevator opened to reveal a familiar grinning face, and Timothy slipped out of his role as a doppelganger as if it were an old pair of shoes that he left at the door. He wrapped his arms around the Omega, inhaling his scent before connecting their mouths in a slow, deep kiss.
“Hey,” the Alpha whispered as they parted, keeping the tips of their noses pressed against each other, enjoying every bit of contact that they could.
“Welcome home,” Rhys murmured against his lips, kissing Tim again. The Alpha tensed and then relaxed against him, a low purr starting in his chest. Rhys always knew how to make Timothy feel loved. With the Omega, he felt like his own person again, like someone deserving of love.
