This was a prompt from Writer Wednesday on tumblr, that is now turning into a a decent fic 😅 get ready for the rollercoaster!
Armitage Hux goes back to Arkanis to marry a woman who’s family needs the stability of his name to stay in Arkanis High Society. What he doesn’t account for is them falling in love and her coming to live on the Finalizer. Immediately she grabs the attention of Kylo Ren but it isn’t until the destruction of Starkiller that tensions begin to run high. After the defeat on Crait the First Order show the Galaxy they are unstoppable and Hux finally admits his true feelings for his wife. But Kylo has other plans, ripping the marriage apart at the seams and sending Lady Hux back to Arkanis, where Resistance sympathisers have been making enough noise to grab the attention of the First Order. Poor Lady Hux gets pulled into battle of secrets and deceit but who will believe she didn’t know what she was doing and who will save her from a death sentence? Her husband? Or the Supreme Leader?

It’s made worse by the Overseer’s hatred of Hux, and by Kylo’s deteriorating hold on his sanity as he’s cut off from the Force. As each day passes their chances of escape dwindle, but they will not be deterred.
They will bleed. They will fight. They will destroy. But ultimately, they will win.

Summary
Soulmates are nothing more than a fanciful idea of romanticism. They aren't real, found only in legends and trashy romance holo-novels. There is no force in the galaxy that can cause love where love does not exist, cause hate where hate does not linger. It should have been easy to hate each other, and it was, but perhaps it was just as easy to love each other too.

But fate and the Force had a way of setting things up, and the truth might be far more complicated than any lie.
…Years ago, Hux discovered Palpatine. Things snowballed from there.

It wasn't unusual for Kylo to attend High Command meetings, he was, after all, the Supreme Leader. However, Kylo could count on the one hand the number of times Hux missed any sort of meeting, and that was to say, zero. It intrigues him, and infuriates him that his Grand Marshal had all but abandoned him to the horrors of his actual job.
When Kylo finds him, however, he cannot be too annoyed. It was such a rarity to find Hux as he was, luxurious and indulgent, and Kylo was going to consume him.
