He tuned out Fukuzawa' speech. He didn't need to listen to know what had happened: Fukuzawa had needed a favour; Mori-san had had the power to grant it. For the right price, of course.
Didn't take him much to add everything up and find the right answer: there was only one thing that the Agency had that could interest the Port Mafia. He felt Ranpo-san's eyes on him, and stubbornly didn't raise his to meet them.
He feebly wondered who Mori-san had named, in the end. Like it mattered, really.
Ah, Odasaku, he thought. You'd be very proud of me, now.
He got up, and everybody turned to him. He pointed to himself.
“I volunteer.”

Summary
Atsushi and Akutagawa reconvene after the Decay of Angels saga, training under Dazai’s watchful eye. Things are different between them, and although Atsushi doesn't quite know how to address the whole "dying for each other" thing, it doesn't feel right to go back to their old hostility either. Although things are occasionally tense between reunited mentor and mentee Dazai and Akutagawa, the duo is making solid improvements. They even start bonding outside of training, and Atsushi finds that he's fascinated by the glimpses he gets into the softer side of Akutagawa. However, after a training incident, everything changes, and it's up to Atsushi to close the distance between himself and his unusual partner.

Summary
After 24 days of enshrouding in the alleys of Yokohama, Sigma has given up all hope of returning to a somewhat normal life. After a lot of hesitation, he decided to turn himself in at a police station as a member of the decay of the angels. He had accepted his fate of living a life in prison, and frankly believed that was fair.
But, his attempt to alter his appearance wasn't very successful as Miyazawa Kenji recognised him at the police station while running some errands. Apparently, they were actively searching for him.
Or, Sigma gets a choice to join the agency.

“Ooh!” Kenji exclaims. “Show us!”
“I, uh, don’t have any cards,” Sigma replies. Crisis averted, they think to themself. Everyone will forget about it, and no one will know they lied in a moment of desperation.
But then Kenji deflates. The spark leaves his eyes and he pouts from the disappointment.
Sigma panics.
“I can bring some in tomorrow though!” they add with an entirely forced laugh, desperately trying to keep him happy. To their immense relief, it works; Kenji smiles brighter than the sun, and Sigma winces internally.Sigma is the newest member of the Armed Detective Agency, and they're determined to be liked. Whether it be changing their appearance, or spending their first paycheck on ingredients to bake cookies for the others, they think they've got all their bases covered. The idea that the Agency could love them anyway is an impossibility - right?
