There was no other way Hibiki could put it: Yamato was being a bitch. Yamato had just come back from a week-long mission which, if he had to guess by his absolutely foul attitude, had not ended well. Even Makoto was avoiding him. Not that Hibiki could blame her, he had been able to hear Yamato snapping at her from down the hall. The pile of paperwork she needed Yamato’s approval on had gotten impressively tall in the hours since, taller than he’d ever seen her wait for.
It was a pretty good excuse, if he had to say so himself, a plan slowly pulling together in the back of his mind.

POST TRI-ARC, MEMORY-LOSS: basically hibiki is reborn as a darling prince and yamato and daichi have to go help him retrieve his memories. things happen.

They say that the third time is the charm. Or at least, it was, except for the minor fact that Yamato Hotsuin’s memories were not completely restored. Once Chief, now General and “little” brother of Chief Houtsin, does not know what God or Demon he’s upset to earn the annoying, continuous presence of one of the newest JP’s recruits - Hibiki Kuze – who seems to be strangely close to the Chief.
