Knocking on the lab's door didn't lead to anything. Not that Sans expected it to; if Alphys wanted to be found, she would've answered his calls. But if she wasn't in her lab, wasn't in the castle in New Home, nor at the dump in Waterfall, that meant she really, truly didn't want people finding her. And that...made him uneasy, to say the least.
Well. There was always one other, last place she could be in. The other laboratory.
With a defeated sigh, Sans took a quick shortcut into the standard lab. He stared at the elevator that would take him down; it really was the only place Alphys would be. And even though he doubted he could be of much help with whatever problem she was having, maybe she'd at least appreciate the company.
So, Sans headed down into the darkness.

Takes place after a final pacifist run, in which Frisk only killed Asgore after realizing the barrier could not be broken by normal means and realizing they could no longer Reset. The timeline takes place around 26 years later where two siblings, Dakota and Sam, stumble upon what they had previously thought was just a story. Only to find that they might have an indirect link to the Underground.
