For the entirety of the Covenant’s existence, the Unggoy have been at the bottom of the hierarchy. They were nothing more but cannon fodder even after their ferocious rebellion. Mizif despised his kind’s nature the moment he was enlisted into the Covenant. The idea of being nothing but cannon fodder made his skin crawl with disgust. He refused to end up as another slaughtered Grunt on the battlefield
His desire to survive the brutal Human-Covenant War by any means will give birth to the most ruthless and horrifically cunning Grunt that anyone has ever seen. Humans? Parasites? Heretics?
