Summary
Erebor rejoiced for the winning of the battle of the five armies, the line of Durin is saved and the whole company celebrates. All except for one, the burglar had left in the middle of the night to go back to the Shire. Bilbo had gotten news from his family that the Shire had been invaded by a pack of orcs, who had asked for one particular hobbit who goes on an adventure with dwarves. Bilbo knew that there is something wrong, why would orcs hunt him down? Whatever is the reason?

Every race has its own version of history, its own battles won and lost, and its own myths and legends...
The Woodland Elves were no exception to that, though they lived in their ancient forest, shut away from the other kingdoms.
Elflings would run through the forest, searching for the Faëries they were sure were hidden there. After all, Faëries were the rarest of creatures and were renowned for bringing light into the darkness and hope into desolation. They were gifts from the Valar to those who were lucky enough to find them.
Neither Thranduil nor Legolas was an elfling any longer. They should have stopped looking for Faëries in the woods millennium ago. But in their hearts, they never stopped looking for them. They are sure it wasn't a trick of the light. Sure that Varda has gifted them a Faërie. No one will stop them from pursuing the little thing...not even the Faërie, Bilbo, himself...

Wilda has been raised since birth to become a shieldmaiden like her mother before her. Hilda, Wilda's mother, was the most famous shieldmaiden in all of Rohan and was known all across Middle Earth for her adventures with Gandalf the Grey and her famous military prowess. Hilda planned to help Wilda achieve greatness but was unable to finish her training when a battle ended her life and left her daughter an orphan.
For ten years Wilda has been living in Meduseld along with the King, Théoden, his son Théodred, and his sister's orphaned children Eowyn and Eomer. In that short span of time, she became close with Eowyn, has formed a formidable hatred for Eomer, and has been training alongside the male warriors hoping to one day follow in her mother's footsteps. But when a letter is sent from Imladris, calling for her to meet with Lord Elrond's council at Gandalf's request- she is forced to put her training to use and step up to become the shieldmaiden she was born to be.
