Approximately six years after they make it back from the island.
Ralph came back, a broken boy, who decided to live for the people who died because of him, that's what he thinks; he blames himself. The people, which are Piggy and Simon, and that littlun—Mulberry boy, who Ralph never knew the name of. For the ones who can no longer live the lives that were laid out for them. The lives they deserve, but now, Ralph, has to be that person, the person for all three boys; that they were meant to be. The person that he's scared he can't be. But, he has that chance, the chance they'll never get.
Forever boys, forever stuck on that island. Forever fighting to survive.
But, he. He can live for them. Be the person they would've been. Or could've been.Ralph and Jack trauma bond, six years later.
I'm not actually in England so sorry if I mess up anything, anyways they're year 13 or senior in highschool. They're 18 years old, about to graduate highschool. So around spring time, but it's England so cloudy.

Summary
Hiccup transfers out of community college. His new roommate was a strange, eccentric artist. He smoked, he would show up at midnight with hickeys on his neck. And yet he was sweet, and understanding, and eager to help. And Hiccup quickly found himself desperate to spend all his spare time with him.
Jack had given up trying to please people a long time ago, and now that he'd left for university, he could finally move on with his life. After meeting his new roommate, and reuniting with an old friend, it gave him a reason to care again.
Rapunzel was finally allowed to live on her own. She was no longer bogged down by her mother's wants and needs, and she could explore the world as she saw fit. What she didn't expect was the constant questioning she found herself looping through.
Merida had rejected anything feminine. She made it to college on an athletics scholarship, refused to follow her mother's silly rules about being a proper lady. But maybe being a little soft wasn't a bad thing.
