Jack had given up trying to please people a long time ago, and now that he'd left for university, he could finally move on with his life. After meeting his new roommate, and reuniting with an old friend, it gave him a reason to care again.
Rapunzel was finally allowed to live on her own. She was no longer bogged down by her mother's wants and needs, and she could explore the world as she saw fit. What she didn't expect was the constant questioning she found herself looping through.
Merida had rejected anything feminine. She made it to college on an athletics scholarship, refused to follow her mother's silly rules about being a proper lady. But maybe being a little soft wasn't a bad thing.

It’s going to be hard considering all his friends opted for different Colleges, but he’ll focus on school work and a part-time job, no biggie. Things begin to change though, when Hiccup bumps into Jack. Literally bumps into him in the hallway. That’s not how they become proper friends though, that is the second time they meet. They hit it off really well and they’re practically brothers by the end of first week. But Hiccup has to watch his feelings of friendship don’t evolve into more or he’ll lose one of those most precious to him. Things get complicated when his abusive ex-boyfriend turns up out of the blue, looking to rekindle the one-sided affair. If Hiccup doesn’t comply, then Dagur will destroy his life, or at least his friendship with Jack. To save Jack and himself from ridicule, Hiccup accepts. But Dagur’s an abusive shit that likes to lay his fists into Hiccup too many times and it doesn’t take Jack long to notice something is going on. And the best friend who he’s crushing on isn’t exactly good at lying to him….
