Summary
Two years have passed since the events of Wheels of Thunder, and all Arashi and her lovers wish for is to enjoy a happy, peaceful life. But when an old friend arrives at their doorstep with a dreadful warning, it's clear that a new storm is on the horizon.
After his part in Garlemald's near-ruination, Zenos Galvus has avoided a homecoming for as long as he can. Now at last the time has come to face the sins of his past under Athena's control, but the wounds of his father have bled far deeper than he realised, and ghosts from long ago now rise to haunt his every step.
As dreadful foes and familiar faces new and old take to the stage, all signs point westward to the land of the golden dawn. Will the Turali Grand Prix bring glory or calamity? And what price will be paid by those bold enough to challenge it?

I got this in my head after seeing a fic by Pichupal, so any blame, please direct to them (I don't know them and they probably don't know me)
It's a self indulgent romance starter, so sue me. also, not sure I can write Runar right. aaanyways, as usual, I seem to have a habit of making my romances start by light bullying.

Baidar Oroq, Warrior of Light and Bladesworn, prepares to travel to the First with Venat and Y'shtola Rhul, to find a way to cross into the Thirteenth, only to find an even greater darkness waiting for them, one that, long ago, wrapped its fingers around both Venat and Azem, in ancient, forgotten days. The third novel in the Harvest of Souls series, the sequel to "The Unheavenly Creatures" begins here.

Summary
Imagine, very many years from now, an ancient house: solid stone, richly appointed, eaves creaking in the wintry winds. A young person climbs a narrow set of stairs to the attic, where generations of her family have stored the combined remnants of their lives. She swiftly passes many dusty artefacts to kneel before a sealed chest: chalcocite, studded with polished larimar, with a broken lock that no longer catches quite right. She tips back the lid, shines her lantern upon the contents . . .

Summary
Gustave was sure he was dead. His memories began to disolve and he was ready for the end to come and embrace him. That is, until a certain Mothercrystal emphatized with his fate.
Elsewhere, across the reflection, Emet fumbled the spell meant to retrieve Y’shtola from the Lifestream. Instead, he summoned a desperate soul adrift in the aetherial sea.

Summary
Just a place for me to post my FFXIV Write 2024 submissions. It's been a while since I've done a daily writing challenge, but these have been fun to work on! Many of these minis will likely exist within the universe of a bigger project I am currently working on, so if you enjoy these, keep an eye out for that.
A whole lotta SHB stuff. Spoilers through Dawntrail. Below is a list of the 5 most recent chapters. Others are named in the index.
(The month is over, but I'm still hoping to finish what I couldn't get to!)
Enjoy!

“If I may,” Thancred said, shaking the conjurer from her reverie, “The lovely maiden beside me is named Y’shtola.” He glanced back at his friend, grinning wolfishly. “Limsa Lominsa has the pleasure of being under her care.”
Y’shtola pointedly ignored Thancred, instead looking the newest Scion directly in the eye. “Greetings,” she deadpanned.
“...hi,” said the adventurer. Her face was darkened by a slight blush-- embarrassment at Thancred’s antics, no doubt.

Hera grows flowers in Gridania, and Y'shtola catches him off guard. She probably wouldn't have called him through Linkpearl anyways. It's alright, though, she can't really see his grief anyways.

Summary
For a fleeting moment you see the age in his eyes, tender and nostalgic as though he were the old man he once claimed to be, looking back upon misplaced yet beloved photographs of times long past.
G'raha turns his arm to regard the arcane eye painted there. The deep hue is stark against the azure of his body. "I shall wash them off in the morning, but for now I enjoy being able to see my old markings again."
"You seem more upset than anything," you counter cautiously, the unspoken question evident in your voice.
"’Tis difficult to put into words. Memory is not always without mourning, and mourning is not always an act of grief." G'raha looks down into his tea, tracing a crystal finger along the curve of the ceramic mug. The faint scratching sound it makes is nearly deafening. "Tis good to remember how it felt to fly before I clipped my wings."

Summary
Before either woman could respond, Ran’jit cut in, sneering, “We do not negotiate with the enemy. The villagers’ lives are forfeit. As is yours…” Faster than any of them could react, the older man kicked his adjutant in the ribs, sending his assistant careening into the pit below and causing the bottle of antidote to go flying. Before Ibakha could stop her, Y’shtola threw herself into the chasm after the bottle, batting it towards the xaela who caught it more on instinct than anything else.
“I love you,” she said, “Do not fail.” And then she, too, disappeared into the fog below.
“Shtola!,” Ibakha screamed, scrambling for the edge of pit before a gust of wind emanating from the depths below knocked her back. -

Summary
A series of small drabbles for some of my favorite ships (platonic and romantic). Rated explicit overall for safety, but will label all fics individually.
