Summary
For a fleeting moment you see the age in his eyes, tender and nostalgic as though he were the old man he once claimed to be, looking back upon misplaced yet beloved photographs of times long past.
G'raha turns his arm to regard the arcane eye painted there. The deep hue is stark against the azure of his body. "I shall wash them off in the morning, but for now I enjoy being able to see my old markings again."
"You seem more upset than anything," you counter cautiously, the unspoken question evident in your voice.
"’Tis difficult to put into words. Memory is not always without mourning, and mourning is not always an act of grief." G'raha looks down into his tea, tracing a crystal finger along the curve of the ceramic mug. The faint scratching sound it makes is nearly deafening. "Tis good to remember how it felt to fly before I clipped my wings."

Summary
“If I may,” Thancred said, shaking the conjurer from her reverie, “The lovely maiden beside me is named Y’shtola.” He glanced back at his friend, grinning wolfishly. “Limsa Lominsa has the pleasure of being under her care.”
Y’shtola pointedly ignored Thancred, instead looking the newest Scion directly in the eye. “Greetings,” she deadpanned.
“...hi,” said the adventurer. Her face was darkened by a slight blush-- embarrassment at Thancred’s antics, no doubt.

Summary
Gustave was sure he was dead. His memories began to disolve and he was ready for the end to come and embrace him. That is, until a certain Mothercrystal emphatized with his fate.
Elsewhere, across the reflection, Emet fumbled the spell meant to retrieve Y’shtola from the Lifestream. Instead, he summoned a desperate soul adrift in the aetherial sea.

Summary
“Is it not past time you found someone? Strong you may be, but how much stronger might you prove with another at your side?”
She remembered Y’mhitra’s tear-stricken face. Voicing something she had never quite allowed herself to consider.
And how it felt to be held in strong, unwavering arms.
Runar sat down across from her. “You have that expression on your face,” he told her. “You are figuring out something. Care to share?”
Y’shtola blinked, and smiled. “Nothing of import,” she assured him.
And so it went.
Pre-Shadowbringers, Y'shtola/Runar slowburn.

Summary
He has searched for her through every lifetime, every calamity, every rejoining, only to find her on the First and ready to prevent him from saving his people yet again.
So this time, in the face of history repeating itself, he chooses another path...cooperation. An offer she simply can't turn down - for even though this Ascian is as irritating and infuriating as the others, there's something about him that makes her feel as though she's been searching for him her whole life.
A sometimes light-hearted, sometimes fluffy, eventually smutty canon-divergent take on Shadowbringers where Emet-Selch and the WoL follow the pull of their souls and find their way back to each other.

She seized his chin and turned his head to face her. Her forcefulness only stoked the heat building below. “Runar. I won’t have you pretending aught is fine just to avoid troubling me. You’ve been staring at that same section of scroll for over a bell. Out with it.”

Summary
Set after MSQ 5.3, background unrequited Runar/Y'shtola. A Runar and Lyna short.
"When I started preparations for this year's Tutayay Raymi," Runar began, resisting the urge to try and turn the pouch about until it presented its least-offensive side to Lyna, "I realized that I had sent along my recipe for Master Matoya's favorite tea -- but not for my stew. Neither will taste as good without the same herbs to brew, and the roots we use to strengthen the broth. The Greatwood shrouds the soil we tend, and our crops are nourished with water that has been blessed by the Dark. There is a, a flavor that these ingredients impart which may not be found in other lands. I fear that... Master Matoya may miss it."
