Summary
Alma would have thought her partner's triumph over Omega Planetes would've been the end of it. But imagine her surprise to learn the original Omega and its companion Alpha opted against having the Hunter terminate the invader and instead offered a unique mercy.
Now Alma finds herself faced with the unique responsibility of taking a newly humanoid Planetes under her wing. May be something of a tricky endeavour, entirely for how to teach a former frame devoted to logic and programming about human emotion and not at all for how hauntingly beautiful Planetes now was. Not at all.

Omega and Alpha have stopped by the Ironworks so that Omega's chassis can be repaired, and Nero steps up to the task. Nero reflects on his time in as a member of Garlond Ironworks and realizes that his outlook on life in Eorzea has changed. -

The Warriors of Light and their companions face Omega, prepared for whatever may come. To be honest, after this, they only wanted a vacation. Maybe a weekend getaway at Costa del Sol- they deserved it, after helping to end a war, did they not?
But, as usual, fate has other plans. Things go wrong and the Adventurers find themselves in a land not their own. Their world was at war. They only want to go home.
----Ellana Lavellan never wanted to be Herald of Andraste or Inquisitor, but she really had no choice, did she? She finds herself in Crestwood, expecting to find a downtrodden community barely holding onto life, but instead finds a group of warriors calling themselves Adventurers that are hellbent on protecting the little town.

The only way home is through the Inquisitor. The Adventurers throw their lot in with the Inquisition. They were in the process of saving one world- why not work to save another? -

Omega has contended with the phenomenon of the "heart" since their experimentation with and confrontation of the Warrior of Light. Since then, the Omega has accompanied the Alpha and the two have traveled throughout the land to sate the curiosity of a newborn soul, and for answers. In a newfound hypothesis, Omega deduces that the logical route is to research those that have fought the same enemy as him - dragons - in order to reach a definitive conclusion, one that would satisfy his programming and assist in his evolution.
