Summary
He doesn’t remember his past, where he came from, or who he is. Hells, he doesn’t even remember his own name. "The Dark Urge?" That’s… not him. Not anymore, at least. Yet, he has this feeling that these strangers are important. That they are worth… everything.
And that he’d kill anything and anyone that stood in their way, gods and devils alike.
If only they could remember why.

“Now… I saw you on the ship, didn’t I? Nod.”
A large hand closed around the vampire spawn’s ankle. He was on his ass in an instant with Caspian rising enough to try and shove a knee on the smaller man’s gut to keep him down.
“Rude, lying, knife-wielding assholes don’t get to make demands,” Caspian growled before he caught a slash across his face for his troubles.
or basically what would the game be like if Tav was a giant, traumatized, half-elf barbarian werewolf who forces everyone to be nice and eventually melts the cold, dead heart of a certain vampire.

Summary
“Hey…” Wyll starts, voice low and worried. ”What’s wrong? You’re shaking like a leaf.” He looks out along the shoreline and takes in the damp, nighttime air. Chills tickle his arms from where they are no longer covered by armor and he can’t help but huff in annoyance as goose-pimples flash across his skin. “C’mon lets get back to camp, this chill is no doubt doing us any favor-”
Tugging lightly, Wyll attempts to drag Gale up from the dirt, worrying for his friend's knees- for how long has he been knelt in the grass out here on his own? Surely he’d much prefer the comforts inside his tent with his cat? Even the logs they’d set up haphazardly around the fire from last night would be better than the sodden ground beside the riverbank, right?
But even as Wyll makes to stand, Gale swiftly pulls himself out from under his touch, and with a strained voice, barely audible says;
“I’m afraid to…”

Even after Gales orb had been seemingly paused by Elminster as per Mystras word, something... new... has now changed with everyone's favourite wizard. Whilst it may be small to anyone else it is no less terrifying for him.

"(This letter is written on plain paper. It is undated)
Gale has fallen into a slumber from which none of us have been able to wake him. Astarion I need you to make your way to Waterdeep as fast as you can. I think you and the rest of your party may be our only hope.
Morena Dekarios"
Astarion set Morena’s letter down carefully, then picked it up to read it again, as if doing so would change the utter impossibility of what it said. He inspected the paper, checking for signs of falsity and upon finding none, scrawled a reply on the back and sent it off.Series

Summary
Uther would likely not refer to himself as a hero, not with the dark urge and everything that happened with Alfira. But Astarion would argue otherwise, the Paladin was good and surprisingly gentle, he just had some issues. Halsin would likely agree with him too in that regard. Though Halsin and Uther did seem very comfortable around one another and in such a short span of time…
But there was a long road ahead of them all, moonrise was their goal now after finding Halsin. Then of course everything had to come to a head when the idiot Paladin took a mace to the ribs at the Grymforge after pushing Astarion out of the way.
Astarion was pissed at the self sacrificing idiot to say the least. But he never thought his bout of anger would lead to the man leaving them all. Now he was stuck having to battle with the complexities of his emotions for the man.
Uther found Astarions words stung more because of the truth behind them, that and his closely guarded feelings for the vampire. And with not even Halsin speaking up in the silence that followed, perhaps it was best to give them all a break from him and the threat of the urge that still lingered on everyone’s minds.
Named OC. Polyamory. Multiple POV.

Summary
At Wyrm’s Lookout, under the hush of a starlit night, Adil prepares to leave the party for good. Restless, invisible, and alone, he slips out of camp while his companions sleep. Guilt presses heavy on poor shoulders, but it is fear that drives him. Fear of the man he's tried, and failed, to save. A man he loved but one who changed beyond any sane recognition.
It is a sleepless night.

Summary
When Halsin showed up uninvited at camp, the Dark Urge was busy wiping blood from her body.
She heard the sound but didn’t turn around immediately. Instead, she tightened her grip on the Titanstring Bow, her fingertips blanching from the tension.
She had always known this day would come.
Ever since she slaughtered every last druid and tiefling in the Emerald Grove with her own hands, she knew it was only a matter of time.
But not now.
Now wasn’t the right time to meet someone out for revenge. -

Mayrina’s mind raced, her fear mingling with a dawning realization.
He was doing this on purpose.
The casual revelation, the mocking tone, the way he loomed just close enough to make her flinch—it was all a performance, designed to unsettle her, to push her away. He’d called her a weakling, a liability, in the argument she’d overheard, and now he was trying to scare her into running from the camp.Or:
Following Auntie Ethel’s defeat, the Dark Urge offers Mayrina shelter at the campsite until they reach Baldur’s Gate. Astarion isn’t exactly pleased. -

“Noticed you were reading- get side tracked, huh?” Karlach asks.
You nod, smiling down at Scratch and giving him a bit more of a pet. He licks your hand- but for whatever reason he rises and lopes off.
“Oh. Bye bye.” You tell his retreating form.
“Aw, that’s okay. He obviously liked the cuddle.”
“’M cold now.” You frown a little, eyebrows tightening.
“Cuddles keep you pretty warm, yeah.”
“You’re warm.” You say like it’s related- and it is, to you.
She doesn’t quite know what to do with the fact you say it like it’s something lovely and not something awful.
(Four times (practically) no one notices, and one time they do.
Mama Karlach really, really got to me.)

Summary
As a group of reluctant allies fight to stop the encroachment of the Absolutist cult, they cling to each other for support as they fight their personal battles as well. And through vulnerability and kindness, they all begin to heal.
A love letter to Baldur's Gate 3, the game that lives in my brain and stole my heart. Features three original characters based on ones I created in the game: Faen, pronounced "Fain" (F), Tav (M) and Amaranda (F). It starts off pretty dark, gets worse before it gets better, but everyone in the party pairs up, good defeats evil and love, kindness and friendship conquer all.
This is a novelization adaptation of sorts, written for old fans, new fans, and the curious. The idea is that anyone can jump into the story from the beginning, even if they know nothing about the game. My goal is to convey all the drama, humor, redemption, and express why I love these characters and their journey, to everyone, especially people who can't get into playing the game for whatever reason.
Any explicit scenes (or parts of scenes) are flagged at the beginning of the chapter notes, with specific warning tags listed. They're written so you won't miss any story beats if you choose to skip them.

Summary
A year after the Netherbrain's defeat, Baldur's Gate celebrates its heroes, the brave adventurers who saved their city and, perhaps, the entire Sword Coast.
The Emperor is not part of the festivities, the city still too wary of Illithids for it to be willing to risk attending. Instead, it revisits its old hideout, noise from the party just barely audible through its ceiling.
But while it may not be attending the party, not everyone has forgotten its part in the adventure.
