It’s not like I have anything happening for the next week. We were taking it easy, weren’t we?” Uranus nodded against his hand. “Well, then. In any event, I’m glad I decided to come over. Have you eaten? Or taken care of yourself at all?”

Triton was sitting down on an asteroid; watching the kids play. It was a strong temptation to just fall asleep right there—but he knew that the kids would probably wake him up.
He started zoning out, staring into the empty space before he felt a small pull of gravity, which brought him back into reality. Triton had to squint before he looked down at Sao. "Yeah, kiddo?"
Sao glanced back at Galatea, who gave him a thumbs up, before he asked, "Big Brother? Are you and Luna doomed yaoi?"
Or Triton finally getting sleep and Luna taking care of the Neptunian Moons.

After getting kicked out of the solar system, Jupiter goes insane and gets adopted by a blue star. Sun and The Blue Star™ fight over custody later on.
This fic is placed during the "What If We Replaced Jupiter?" Arc. It's an expansion of that arc, because Alvaro rushed through X's interactions with everyone around him so much. This fic also briefly references Jupiter being a war hero, which also happened in the same AU as this one. I'll write a fic about it if you guys want me to, and if I have the time/motivation for it.

Wouldn’t it be so boring if we didn’t talk to each other?” Neptune twirled in mid-air as he said the last part of his sentence, drifting to a stop against a couple asteroids. “Uranus is busy trying to make sure Jupiter and Saturn don’t go ~crazy~ in their orbits. Well, Jupiter mostly, but where Jupiter goes, so does Saturn!” His lopsided grin grew bigger, one eye closing - Earth just stared, his eyebrows raised.
“O-kay,” he said after another moment, looking to the side to see if Luna was hearing the same thing. Luna just had a funny look on his face, brows knit, lips parted slightly in confusion. “About what?”
“What?” Neptune blinked at him again.
Or; The orbits don't return to normal... and Earth gets used to his new orbit, and Neptune.

Summary
He was starting to feel increasingly worried as Earthling year after Earthling year passed and yet the level of general anxiety hanging over the Earthlings stayed static, their frantic movements no less concern-inducing. He tried to maintain normalcy outside of his connection with the Earthlings — he played card games with his friends, he told Luna stories about the Earthlings, he listened to Jupiter’s lectures about space, he did everything he normally did, but… something still felt wrong.
The level of worry he had for his Earthlings - who were extremely vulnerable even at the best of times - constantly buzzed in the back of his head, and it felt like recently it was all he could focus on. Something in the back of his mind was sounding alarm bells, but he had no idea over what; was it something on his surface, or an outside threat that he was somehow completely missing?
Or; The end approaches, unbeknownest to anyone but the Earthlings. Earth deals with paranoia while the others can only watch.

Summary
The rest of the planets slowly made their way toward the Sun, Luna bringing over the deck of cards they’d been playing with as he settled just above Earth’s shoulder.
“What’s going on?” Luna asked, stretching, as Earth just crossed his arms over his chest and shrugged at his moon.
“Just another Sun Competition, I guess,” He answered, raising an eyebrow with slight annoyance. “But I’m prepared for anything when it comes to him.”
Neptune was the final one to show up, humming a random tune Earth couldn’t quite figure out. When they were all gathered in front of him, the Sun changed into his humanoid form and clapped his hands loudly, a bright grin on his face.
“Mercury,” he said, voice gleeful. “Can you bring out your planetary weapon?”
The Sun organizes a competition... and Earth figures out a way to win it.
