Everyone in Fortuna finds themselves at Ticker’s Secondhand sooner or later. One comes late in the cycle, a Solaris in a machinist’s rig. She spends a long time looking at a motherwrench, waiting until all the other customers are gone, and when Ticker asks her what she’s looking for, she says in a flat, dead voice, “The Taxmen brain-shelved my da.”

Summary
Despite their eyes and muscles being heavy with fatigue, Cal groggily lifted their head and blinked away the tired blurriness that clouded their sight, trying to gather their bearings as things slowly began coming into view.
They were… well, they weren’t quite sure where they were; but the distant hum and drone of machinery told them that they were still in Fortuna. The room itself, however, was unfamiliar, they noted the various photos and diagrams of Vallis flora and fauna that adorned the windowless grey walls, and a carefully stacked pile of floofs that stared back at them from the far corner.
It was… odd.

Summary
A moon, damaged in a struggle against unjust lords of excess and exploitation, vanishes from the sky over a world of humans and robots. Another moon, smashed on purpose by an unjust lord in his last departing act of contempt for his subjects, hangs still over a world of humans and faunus. Both remind their wounded worlds that there is no change too great to be possible, but that freedom often comes at a high price.
This is a world of legends, of stories scattered through time. The truth is rarely as simple as it appears to be. But when friends become enemies and it seems all has been for nothing, remember that enemies may become friends just as easily. The greatest adversary of peace has never been those who work against it, but those who merely sleepwalk for generations with no purpose or calling. Dreamers, wake up!

Operator Rev Tal is highly protective of the Solaris and won't let something as trivial as the massive conglomerate that makes up the majority of Corpus holdings in the Origin System, funded in part by donations of millions if not billions of believers in Nef Anyo's doctrine stand in their way.
Things aren't going to end well for at least one group involved. It's probably not going to be the Solaris.

A coolant-colored warframe with a giant ring on his back raises his hands to sign something, but apparently thinks better of it, and turns to the other beside him, evidently having a conversation on some private comms channel.
It's just a regular day in Fortuna. Tenno are wandering the Vallis, causing all kinds of mayhem and generally giving Nef about seventy migraines. All things considered, it's a decent day for Solaris United, and a decent day for Eudico, too. (At first.)

But Vox Faunus is gone. And without their shared voice, the repression has been brutal. Eudico remains, once the face beneath the mask, but in this new world since the Fall of Beacon, there's not much more she can do. Not unless things start changing for the better, for once. Not unless the right spark lands to ignite a new passion in her weary bones.
Things are certainly changing, in some way or another. Maybe this will be the day.
