Summary
It has been 2 months, 10 weeks and 73 days. 1,752 hours and 105,120 minutes. At least by the time Assimilation started counting. It's unsure of how truly long it's been, but by the time it started counting, it had already been a while. It's sure of that.
Andre has been standing there for so long, and Assimilation has been waiting for so long. It hates waiting. It knows Andre hates that too.

Summary
Stanley has been in the Parable for a very, very long time. Decades, maybe. Or even centuries. He’s long since lost track.
Throughout all his time here, Stanley has learned that there are rules to his existence. He can’t eat. He can’t sleep. And he can’t get sick.
But one day, he finds himself feeling off. Feeling ill.
The rules have stopped applying to him. And this is not supposed to happen.

The Angsty Parable Ultra Deluxe : Skip-Button Ending by orphan_account

Summary
"And here it is. Go ahead and give it a shot."
Stanley's throat felt dry, despite the man never having talked in his entire life. This was too familiar, he knew he had experienced this before, and he hated it.He didn't listen to the Narrator's excessive rambles to annoy him into pushing the button, and instead sat down, tears forming.
"Here, we'll just pretend that I've just begun an interminable monolog-- Stanley?" The disembodied voice had softened, and Stanley found himself focusing on it.
OR, The author hates this ending- because of how terrifying/ sad it is- and rewrites it to be more nicer.

Authors regret nothing, read at your own risk
‘You’ll stay with me, right? You won’t leave?’ Stanley said urgently, his eyes pleading with The Narrator’s. Something in The Narrator shattered at that look.
“Of course my love” he replied, smoothing back a stray part of Stanley’s hair, “I promise I’ll never leave you”.
or: don’t make promises you can’t keep.

Prompt: If Stanley hits the skip button, but then holds it down without letting it go, it doesn't freeze him in time. However, the longer he holds it down, the longer the skips get.
Co-written by someone else but they took their name out at some point i guess?

Staring out into the shadowy open area of the skip room, the Narrator issued a series of demands to the space, trying to influence anything within the area.
“Disable object-skip button.”
‘Access denied.’
“Delete object-skip button.”
‘Access denied.’
“Relocate object-skip button one hundred units upwards.”
‘Access denied.’Or, what the Narrator does while Stanley is frozen in time.

Summary
The Narrator went too far back from his nostalgia and now he's in the real world and doesn't remember anything except that he hated a guy once. Whoopsies.
Stanley is a character in the game, which exists in universe.
Updated Summary because the author has figured out the plot 15 chapters in:
Post Stanlurine Ending in which the Narrator nostalgias too hard into the real world and has trouble detaching himself from Stanley who is found to be a character in a game he made. He has found most of his memories have been forgotten as well, pardon the ones from the Parable and an extra select few. One of the memories lost, that his mind refuses to recover, is his name, causing him to desperately try to find out anything he can about himself and his past (sometimes. other times he just fucks around or deals with mental health idk)
He is also super gay for Stanley but he will never admit it you have to wait for the two year timeskip that is the sequel.Series

Summary
"You... really aren't going to press it, are you?"
The silence stretched out, because of course it did. No matter how many times he tried, mocked, threw little tantrums, The Narrator never seemed to understand that Stanley simply wasn't going to speak.
(Or: Stanley, The Narrator, and The Skip Button. Funny thing what stubbornness can cause. Spoilers for Ultra Deluxe.)

Summary
The Narrator never would have guessed it was possible to leave the Parable. He doesn't remember anything that came before the game, although he and Stanley both assume that there was... something. Right?
On what at first seems to be another normal run, Stanley accidentally stumbles upon a strange new ending that leads to an impossible chance. All of a sudden, he and The Narrator are forced to face the possibility of leaving the game behind for good. And one thing's for sure—they’re in for more than a few surprises on the outside.
In other words: Stanley and his Narrator are getting the hell out of Dodge.

A study of body and mind by just_sharing_stories for reader

Summary
There is a fundamental difference between the consciousness of a person and the body of it. Of what we can observe and only speculate about.
While the body might be flourishing, excelling in many different ways, resting, sleeping, existing,
the mind may not be.
And while that might not seem obvious to anyone viewing it from the outside, the conclusion remains the same:
We are all doomed.
Wait what? I think I skipped a few steps–
Let me start a bit earlier. At a story, two men and a yellow button.
This is a story about a man named Stanley.-

"I am only real as long as I keep talking. As long as I keep rambling and someone, anyone, you are reading me! Watching me exist! I can’t not exist. I can’t vanish, I don’t want to. But eventually… you’ll grow bored, won’t you? You’ll toss away your favourite toys and get new ones, won’t you? You’ll… forget me, forget them!"
