I think Cato would’ve volunteered at 12 if he could. He’s always admired people who won, he was 7 when Finnick Odair won. I don’t think I could even describe how absolutely happy he was to see a young victor. Unlike Cato, all I could think about was how sorry I was for him. Even at 6 I never liked the Hunger Games and secretly judged Cato for enjoying it.
