Summary
“It’s not the norm on Earth. Toadie’s and Toadstool’s relationship,” Sasha sighs. “Have you ever heard about being in the closet?
“What’s wrong with being in the closet? It’s nice and cozy in there,” Grime blurts out innocently, clearly misunderstanding the human term.
After saving and promising to protect the citizens of Wartwood, Sasha forms the Frog Resistance to stop King Andrias’ mad conquest of Amphibia. Long months of leading have cause Sasha to lose sight of what's truly important to her. An unearthing conversation with Grime reminds Sasha that love is powerful in all its beautiful ways, and it is love that is worth fighting for.

Summary
What if things didn't go as planned? What if after returning to a desolate and broken version of Amphibia, Anne and Sasha didn't win against Andrias and Darcy? They may have managed to retreat relatively unscathed and with their respective stones, but they were forced to leave behind the most important thing. After five years, being trapped in the Core took a major toll on Marcy, putting her in a desperate state. Desperate enough to fight her way back to consciousness on her own, at least somewhat. Now with split power between the two, Marcy lost her will to defend her friends, her resentment towards them for not freeing her growing more and more each day. Little did she know, they never really stopped trying.

Summary
The Core was the vilest creature in Amphibia. One of it's worst acts was painfully possessing Marcy Wu and using her as a host. In this timeline, it fails. Marcy gets more time to shine and the Core gets more of what it deserves and becomes more demonic in the process while they build up to an epic showdown.
I really like Marcy, and I really hate the Core and what it did to her. So I throw her a bone and I make the Core suffer even more than it already did canon wise. My own AU take on the final season. Anne and Sasha's stories will continue relatively unchanged for awhile.
I will update and check chapters for details as needed. Apologies in advance, I am currently double-checking to edit bad grammar and add details. Will be awhile before I'm satisfied.
Major rehaul imminent: Before the next chapter (90% done) is dropped, the first 7 will see major changes. I say that alot, but it's been hard being satisfied with the death knights (who I realized I've goofed up on gameplay mechs on their weapons, among other things) and Marcy's robot squad. The Lyoko Warriors will be dropped because a. two much existential questions b. the toxic debates about their characters online make me sad.-
