After all, it was better to hear their voices in real life than just through a screen. And even though she’s excited now, she won’t be when she hears both full stories.

The familiar purple mushrooms that adorned the girl’s head were no longer purple—they glowed a reddish-orange with yellow dots speckled along each mushroom.
Anne’s head snapped to face her, her eyes glowing the same color, and she gripped what Sasha now saw was a flaming sword that continued to burn through the bed.
“…Anne?” Sasha breathed, swallowing hard against the lump in her throat.
Anne ripped the blade from the mattress, her expression flat and devoid of warmth.
“They can’t hear you,” she said before thrusting the fireblade toward Sasha.

Summary
The Core was the vilest creature in Amphibia. One of it's worst acts was painfully possessing Marcy Wu and using her as a host. In this timeline, it fails. Marcy gets more time to shine and the Core gets more of what it deserves and becomes more demonic in the process while they build up to an epic showdown.
I really like Marcy, and I really hate the Core and what it did to her. So I throw her a bone and I make the Core suffer even more than it already did canon wise. My own AU take on the final season. Anne and Sasha's stories will continue relatively unchanged for awhile.
I will update and check chapters for details as needed. Apologies in advance, I am currently double-checking to edit bad grammar and add details. Will be awhile before I'm satisfied.

Yes… I am back after scrolling through Tumbler again and coming across a post about the Vampire Trio. I really loved all the ideas for each member, but I love Marcy too much not to pick her.
The main idea brought to you by Agalychnisspranneusroseus is “ Vampire!Marcy is still her adorable but traumatized self who Anne and Sasha are very determined to protect and that includes feeding her, something that Marcy refuses to do for so long, still haunted by guilt. But then Anne craddles her in her arms and offers her neck to her and she just can't hold back - you wouldn't expect a vampire to be so docile, so small, and fragile, but that's precisely how Marcy looks when she feeds, her loves always making sure she's healthy and safe.”
So here is my little adaptation and one-shot story for this AU. Yay :3

In the preparations for the Coronation. Old friends are connected with. New friends are made and romance is discovered along the way.
There is no way home but it’s no big deal. Right?
