Summary

Summary
I do not own Sonic the Hedgehog, the Sonic IDW comics characters or any other character or place mentioned herein. SEGA does. This is simply for fun.
Doctor Eggman decides to test the Metal virus, not on Windmill village, but the area around Tails' workshop. This changes a lot more than you would expect. Including, but not limited to: Tangle finally admits to herself she's in love with a certain sniper (but it takes her quite a long time to admit such XD), Mimic is slowly infected with *gasp* morals, Belle finds her place and Shadow finds happiness.
And because this got dramatic in my last fic: Tangle, Jewel and Whisper are aged up because when I started reading T&W and IDW I thought the girls were in their twenties. I literally didn't find out their canon ages until I was four multi-chapter fics deep. If you're not comfortable with their AU ages that is perfectly alright and you're more than welcome to skip this fic, just please don't lose it in the comments. I've tagged the age change and put it in the summary, so please mind the tags, stay safe and had a good day! :)

I have done a lot of work to try and fuse the crossover continuity into a believable world. this is all world building and character info for my story. When it seems like Sonic’s group will miss an important event, Amy and Rouge set out to find them, and Metal follows after them. All three groups (Amy’s, Sonic’s and Eggman’s) eventually meet up at the location of a secret underground lab, and the legends about it prove true. In the confusion as Sonic and Eggman battle to take control of it, some unexpected things happen to Sonic and Metal, one of which has lasting effects on Metal. Metamy.
