Summary
This is a prequel to Tile Tossed Over A Wall. It can definitely stand alone but is very OC focused.
Lana has lived her entire life with a secret. Until one day that secret comes banging on the walls of Ba Sing Se. Can she resist the temptation to meet the brother she's never known?
Iroh has been fighting a war that his father told him to for many years. Now his son has been pulled into the mix as well. He knocks at the impenetrable city and almost hopes for no answer.

Summary
Zuko and Azula are the best of friends. They're siblings, after all. They'll stick together and protect each other, no matter what.
After Zuko's banishment, he is assigned to a small squadron in the Earth Kingdom rather than being sent to hunt down the Avatar. Things rapidly go wrong from here. as things tend to do. Zuko gets thrown into a myriad of situations, and through it all, will he still retain that loyalty he once felt toward his nation? Or will he start to see nothing but enemies, as so many people in the other nations do?
Basically I found a lot of plot ideas I liked so I put them in the Plot Washing Machine (TM), threw Zuko in there too, and put it on spin. The Southern Water Tribe Warriors show up, the Freedom Fighters show up, June and Nyla show up, royalty from multiple nations show up, the Gaang shows up, Toph Beifong herself shows up. There is... a lot of "showing up".

Summary
Following the end of the war, the gaang splits up to continue their lives in times of peace. With everyone going their own ways and Toph the only one still at the Fire Nation place (as she didn't want to return home) becomes closer friends with Zuko during this time as she decides how to pass on the skill of metal bending. She refuses to leave him alone as she watches him sink into depression at the idea of being abandoned by everyone again. Considering they have one eye and two braincells that Zuko doesn't know how to use and Toph has never tired to use between them, their friendship causes mishaps as well as growth and support as they visit each other on various occasions usually resulting in Toph making a lot of enemies as she tries to drag the Fire Lord away from his duties. Then mix a solid amount of Zuko angst into that and here we go, this thing.
Zuko and Toph just vibe in this and have no thoughts head empty, they have the very close sibling dynamic, not dating. In which Zuko has far too much trauma and receives love and affection from his odd group of friends and a therapist because lets be honest, he needs one.

He just doesn’t know if he ever would’ve been ready for Zuko."

Ever since they’d returned from the Boiling Rock, Zuko hadn’t been able to make himself stop shaking.
Or: After the Boiling Rock, Zuko's anxiety is running at an all-time-high. One thing leads to another, and it ends with him having a full-blown panic attack slash flashback over dinner. Just great.

He HAS to. He whispers late at night in his dreams and his body burns.

Summary
"His wife longs for a baby so keenly now that he likens it to grief. He can feel it in his heart, every hour of every day, as powerfully as if the emotions are his own. He can feel it in this very moment, stabbing into him like needles. He wants to apologise, to get on his knees and beg at her feet - for forgiveness, for more time, for her to understand - but he knows those gestures will not comfort her. Only one thing will make her truly happy and he can’t give it to her."
Or: Katara wants a family to call her own, but Zuko struggles with the idea.
