“Agy… Agy, please…” Snot froze against her cupid's bow, tears falling onto shut eyelids. Cipher was stock still as she watched for any sign or breathing, her own frosted fingertips pressing against the side of Aglaea’s throat. “Tell me you’re still here.”

After experiencing the end of their prophecies, the Goldweaver and Phantom Thief awake amidst snow and howling wind in a world alien to them. Their powers are lessened, life gifted back to their hearts, and those same hearts twisting and singing under the promise of what lies ahead. Amongst new dangers sits their fractured relationship no longer restrained, instead in freefall and at the whims of rekindling emotions. Hopefully, they'll be fast enough to catch and repair it, bringing back warmth like they used to inside the home and love of a dress shop in Okhema.
