As a — although he would never call himself so — lonely two-century old vampire, Minho needs not much beyond his house, his flowers and a good familiar. Now, when said familiar decides to gift him a portrait, he begins to realise, even if very reluctantly, that his non-life could use, perhaps, something more.
Christopher Bang works as the owner and manager of a hotel in a small town. At 31 years of age, he is also a painter — has been for most of his life —, and well aware that he is not receiving much from life other than his paintings and a good friend.
