For your extreme case, the success rate is laughably small—small enough that I’d ask The Tsaritsa to write me an eulogy right now if I were you.” Zandik smiled faintly. “Then, after the surgery fails, you will be in a state of coma for a day or two or, if you’re unlucky, three.”
“So, chairman…” The bouquet was gently put on Feofan’s lap, right next to the elixir. “Because I am too poor to book a flight to Snezhnaya and attend your funeral, let me pay my utmost respect to you right here, right now.”

Usually, the Doctor didn’t bother himself with such frivolities, as the second fatui harbinger he had much more important things to take care of. Unfortunately, not all his segments seemed to share that sentiment…
For days now they had been restless, whispering amongst themselves and going rigid the moment they’d notice Prime’s presence, which wasn’t anything out of the ordinary, but it was starting to get on his nerves. How were they supposed to get any work done like this? What was the point in making these idiotic segments, only for them to spend their days entertaining these stupid rumors?
He was rather tired of it, to say the least.
So, when he finally approached Omega, fully intent on finding out what exactly had them in such a frenzy, he was incredibly disappointed by the actual topic of said rumor.
“A person capable of answering any and every question,” he echoed, his tone laced with thinly veiled contempt. That his own segments—beings who shared his intellect—could entertain something so absurd was almost insulting. Perhaps, he mused, their creation truly had been a waste of time and resources.

Following the Irminsul incident, though everyone believes him dead, Dottore is very much alive.
Granted, he faces a slight problem: specifically, the fact that he is trapped in the body of an eight-inch lizard.He needs to find a way back to Snezhnaya and his human body, something Pantalone could easily help him with - had he actually bothered to let him in on this plan, too. As it stands, however, he is forced against his will to play the part of an innocent little reptile, all while slowly realizing that his colleague might have held him in much higher regard all along than he ever could have imagined.
