Trust me, he thinks. I’m not letting that happen.For one hundred years, witchcraft has been outlawed; the punishment for it being certain death.
Miyuki Kazuya is by no means a witch. He’s a knight of the royal guard, committed to serving the kingdom’s royal family and it's citizens.
One day, however, he finds himself stumbling upon a witch by the name of Eijun. He doesn’t ever report his findings of the young witch, and the two of them quickly grow close over time.
Their closeness is a double-edged sword though. Nothing is as simple anymore when faced with sudden witch hunts, battles, monsters, and magic; things which can irrevocably affect life as they know it.
With danger on the rise and perils in sight, Kazuya must ultimately decide whether to commit himself to his duty or to protect and save the witch he has slowly fallen in love with.
