Bilbo Took-Baggins and Nori of the Ri clan were married---platonically as they'd tell you---out of convenience many moons ago. Now, happily divorced and still best friends with his ex-husband, Bilbo decides he wants to help Nori on the quest to Erebor.
Bilbo is an ex-bounder, Nori spends half his time in the Shire, Thorin has tunnel vision, and the author doesn't know how to write summaries.

Bilbo finally pulls himself to his feet, planting them sturdily beneath him so he doesn’t start tripping around like a drunken Sackville in front of his new instructor.
“Keep talking like that and I’ll divorce you,” he tries to threaten, but it falls flat he infers from Nori’s near bellow of a laugh.“I think we’re going to get along fine, Master Baggins.”

Summary
Bilbo Baggins arrives in Erebor with the rather large family of Bur, hoping for a fresh start as an experienced midwife and apprentice nurse. The only problem is the mysterious Tharven, whom Bilbo is pretty sure is just the crown prince Thorin in disguise, who is constantly knocking on Bilbo’s door late at night looking to get stitched up. If it means he and his newborn baby can stay in Erebor, Bilbo would do anything to keep the prince’s favor. Even if it means his bathroom has become a temporary surgery center.

But a series of minor mishaps and injuries makes two things very clear to his friends and family: first, Sherlock's time away wasn't the grand adventure everyone has assumed it was; and second, that time has left Sherlock with a legacy that's bleeding into his life today. Sherlock is Not Okay, and it's not going away.

The very last thing that Voldemort expects to find one evening as he undresses for the long bath that soothes the cold ache of his bones is the scratch of black letters that adorn the top of his thigh. He has been returned to his body for less than a week and here he stands in the immaculate deep-sea themed bathroom of his guest suite in Malfoy Manor with the lies of his soulmate written on his skin.
The absurdity of it makes him laugh.

A soulmate. A soulmate. One who planned a home for him, according to their previous words. One who wanted to keep him safe and protect him.
Harry can’t imagine how they’ll manage it, considering the whole wizarding world is against him—including the Dark Lord himself—but he likes to dream about it. Maybe they’ll whisk him away from the train at the end of the year and he’ll not have to see the Dursleys ever again. Maybe they’ll take him out of Britain entirely. Surely Voldemort will leave him alone if he’s not even in the country, right?

Voldemort rewards all those who serve him faithfully, even if they happen to also be the one who condemned his primary body to an existence as a wraith. That he gets to fulfill his desire to teach and pull one over on Albus Dumbledore is really a bonus. And if the price to pay for it is to become the magical guardian of a child, then so be it.

At the start of Tom's Fifth Year at Hogwarts something happens that has never happened before. A transfer student comes to Hogwarts. He is scarred from what looks to be magic. Everyone was excited to see if he was interesting being new until he was sorted into Hufflepuff. To make things worse when classes start he only takes three classes that were typically mandatory. The rest of his classes are electives. So people begin to ignore him as being barely above a squib. Until one of the 7th Year Gryffindors decide to escalate their bullying of him by attacking him with magic and he uses an unknown form of magic to defend himself.

Sorted into Hufflepuff, Hadrian finds warmth, Setts, chosen family, and a House that understands care as something practical, ordinary, and fierce. But Hogwarts is full of old stories, and Hadrian refuses to become another one.
A basilisk is not just a monster. A diary is not just a weapon. A godfather is not just a murderer. A Dementor is not just a prison guard. And a soul, however damaged, may still stand at the edge of becoming.
Hadrian will not be the prophecy’s obedient child. He will not become a weapon. And he will not let wizarding Britain decide who counts as a person simply because it is afraid.

It is for the safety of both the student and everyone around them to do so.
So why is Albus blocking what Harry needs and how the every loving hell is Severus supposed to deal with that, plus the child, AND the sudden clusterfuck life in the castle has transformed into?
Or:
All Harry wanted was a quiet year to learn all about magic, all Severus wanted was a quiet year to teach his subject, and all Albus wanted was everything to go his way....
