Kaveh drops his drink. It rolls off their dining table, shattering on the floor with a resounding crash.
“I- huh?!?”
“I asked,” Alhaitham repeats patiently, “if you are ashamed of us being seen together."
A short oneshot inspired by the secret Haikaveh interaction at the end of the first half 6.1 event quest! <3

Wriothesley is the first to step toward the Haunted Mansion, to break the invisible barrier around it. He leaves Lyney’s side to open the gate; though, he stops short of passing through it. The galling smirk he sends over his shoulder has Lyney moving before he’s even opened his mouth.
“That is… unless The Great Magician is afraid?”
Lyney and Wriothesley find themselves trapped in a fair attraction that might actually be haunted. Or it's just a domain.

Sitting at Café Lutece with Lumine, Lyney relished the warmth of sunlight on his skin, freshly released from the oppressive copper walls and faulty plumbing of the Fortress of Meropide. Clean, white marble surrounds them now, a cup of coffee keeping his hands away from the chilly morning air; with a platter of pastries on the table and Teyvat’s loveliest sight in front of him, he could almost pretend nothing happened back then."
Or how an early morning breakfast talk leads to a silly little trip leading Lyney, Fontaine's Greatest Magician (and Lynette, Assistant Extraordinaire) to meet Lumine's Mondstadt friends - what she has closest to a family. Some light angst, some fluff, and a whole lot of fragile reconciliation. Can be read in continuation to "In Your Orbit" or separately.

Lyney swallows, trying hard to keep his cool. His face pulls into a polite, measured smile. “It’s a pleasure meeting you, Kinich.” He hopes the tremor in his voice wasn’t too obvious for Kinich, because it sure as hell was to Lynette if the hard side eye he receives is anything to go by.

He wishes that they would disconnect for a moment, if only just a moment, so that he could embrace the upset boy in front of him. Heizou doesn’t deserve this. Nobody deserves this, and yet he can’t quite ignore this indulgence. It’s a permanent, perpetual emotion that he can’t cast aside. He needs it.
“Then,” Heizou drawls, a servile smile replacing the frown on his lips, “I will continue to chase after you everytime.”

A performer’s secret was to never truly rely on just one act alone. Lyney was exceptionally spectacular in many things, whether it be magic, acrobatics or archery. But one thing the slender male had never been suited for much, was sport.
To be more specific, long lasting marathons and anything related to physical strength — Nope, he was already K.O. just from the sounds of it.
