Summary
A/B/O AU with Castiel and Dean as neighbors. Alpha Castiel has been pining for his neighbor Omega Dean. Castiel discovers Dean after he has suffered a shockingly horrific attack and all of Castiel's protective instincts kick in. With Dean carrying his own load of insecurities along with suffering flashbacks to the attack, how will Castiel convince Dean to let him in to help Dean heal and protect him from the potential of further violence from his attacker? Summary
There had not been an omega in the Angyal family for generations. Ever since Castiel can remember, he had known that, eventually, he would have to mate an alpha who benefited his uncle Michael in one way or the other. He had accepted his fate. Or so he thought. Because when he was about to be bartered away to the old-fashioned Zachariah, he simply could not do it. With the help of Anna and Balthazar, he escaped Michael’s palace to find sanctuary with his uncle Gabriel.
However, their flight did not turn out as planned, and soon, Castiel found himself alone in a strange pack – and tried to figure out his relationship with their leader, Dean.

Summary
Dean Winchester is an omega who was abandoned by his mother at a young age, being left behind with his bitter and abusive father. He’s alone, scared, and developmentally behind, childlike and not even able to read when he’s thrown out on his ass as a teenager. By the time he’s 27 he’s no better off and more damaged than ever, homeless and working on the street. He tries to be happy, childlike mind clinging to hope, but he’s tired. He waits for an angel.
Castiel is an alpha who’s recently experienced a fall from grace after falling into a psychotic episode at work and attacking a man while on duty. He’s lost his job and now works nights at a run down gas station, living paycheck to paycheck and preparing to go before the board to plea his case for why his credentials shouldn’t be taken away. He’s going to get his life back together, there’s only one problem. Castiel believes he’s God-like, a twisted angel of justice, and takes that belief to violent extremes.
