Qrow's hands are not suited for tenderness, not worthy of care.
Clover's hands are meant for service, for giving enough to meet all the needs of those that rely on him, not to need care themselves.Their touch towards the other should find no purchase, no way to fit into all the ways their lives have shaped their hands to be.
But somehow, they did.
Because there was something in their hold on each other worth breaking every rule they had built up to protect themselves for.They just had to find a way to see it clearly, together.

Summary
Looking your soulmate in the eyes is the first time you see color.
Everyone loves the idea of finding your soulmate young, of growing up with them and becoming a fully realized adult because of them. Childhood friends, high school or college sweethearts, best friends to partners, it’s a beloved story. And it’s a great feeling.
But no one talks about what to do when you lose them young too. When the person you’ve built your life around, the person who featured in every version of your future you ever pictured, is gone. No one talks about how you keep going when the person you’d become is shattered by grief. No one talks about how you’re supposed to be able to let yourself love again, how you’re supposed to expose someone new to the permanently sharp edges where you broke.
Or - Qrow found the key to his Sight when he was young. And then lost her. He never imagined he'd find it again.
But those teal eyes were the first thing to cut through his world of grey in so long. And while he knew that color, it was different than the teal Summer had given him. Who knew relative color applied to soulmates?
No Grimm could ever be as dangerous as that overwhelming color.

Summary
A collection of short fics (usually under 1,500 words) based on a list of 50 kiss prompts, though I've changed and added a few (I'm also open to suggestions....)
I've got a number of heavier, long fics that I'm working on that I've been stuck with for a bit, trying to make perfect. So this is a challenge to make myself post things even if they aren't perfect.
But here's a big ball of tenderness and emotion because these two idiots love each other and it fills me with endless joy.

Summary
Qrow is the Emergency Backup Goalie (EBUG) for a game between the Haven Hunters and the Atlas Aces. It's a nice way to watch a game for free, and EBUGs usually never have to do anything.
Usually.
[Qrow has to jump in as an emergency goalie against Clover and his team in the Remnant Hockey League. It goes better than expected.]
