Summary
Sakusa Kiyoomi is a prince of a small nation whose father has proclaimed that it’s time for him to find a suitable companion for him to rule with. But weeks before the suitors are set to arrive, they get a threat on the young prince's life.
In a desperate ploy to keep their son safe, the Sakusa family contacts an elite bodyguard agency. The best man for the job is none other than Miya Atsumu, a fast-talking, charming, but otherwise crass agent who has no time for royal bullshit. In order to keep secrecy, Atsumu must pretend to be a nobleman who’s there to court the prince. For all the time that they spend together, Kiyoomi realizes that the only person he wants to be with is the only one who is not an option.

Summary

“Still a mama’s boy huh?” Aran jokes. “I miss yer mama too, can I come over? Stay the night?” Aran adds suggestively.
Atsumu groans aloud, “Don’t ya remember that the entire Inarizaki team is perma-banned from my house?” Atsumu looks to Kiyoomi’s puzzled expression, “Ya ever heard the song Stacy’s Mom, Omi-kun?”
“Vaguely?”
“Yah well, that song is about me and Samu. We’re Stacy.” He shoots Aran a withering look, “Our mom was pretty young when she had us and we made the mistake of havin the team over fer dinner in our first year. It was awful! They were droolin over her the entire night and we were stuck with, ‘Is yer mom lookin fer a new dad?’ jokes fer our entire high school career.”
Aran laughs heartily at the recollection and though Atsumu feigns at being annoyed, a smile tugs at his lips. “It’s why MSBY isn’t allowed home. If I see 6’5 Meian flirtin with her, Imma get inta a fight I might lose.”

Against his will, Alhaitham is injected with an experimental psychoactive substance. He’s felt fear before, but never like this.
When Kaveh finds Alhaitham, shaking and panic stricken, he brings him to the hospital and stays at his side. He will get him through this.
“I can’t stand you,” Kaveh says, lightly brushing his knuckles over Alhaitham’s cheekbone.
“I know,” Alhaitham murmurs, closing his eyes and bringing their entwined hands close to the pillow.
Alhaitham’s breathing starts to even out, at long last. Kaveh strokes Alhaitham’s hair until he’s fast asleep.
“One of these days, I’m going to tell you.”
