Surprisingly when Will wakes up it isn't the sun that greets him, not even through the cracks in the curtains, it doesn't touch him or warm his skin. His eyes bleary to see it on the wall, staining the white in gold whilst a shadow rests over half his body as some sort of cradle or shield. He doesn't mind it.
