“Well, if I want another pool partner, I have to keep you happy, don’t I,” said Alex. He put the triangle thing in the middle of the green table, before pouring out the bag of balls on the table. “Come here, I’ll show you how I set up.”
Ethan walked over, leaning over the other side of the table, opposite to Alex. The small smile on the taller man’s face didn’t escape his notice; Ethan may not have been interested in pool in the slightest, but seeing his boyfriend happy about something he was genuinely passionate about was nice.
Ethan could see pool becoming a regular thing between them, and he wasn’t sure that he minded the thought. He might even become good at it over the course of it.
Alternatively; Xander attempts to teach Ethan how to play pool. They don't play much pool. Author will now go goodbye.

“Rough day?” asked Christian, a little more softly, and Ethan melted. The man always knew exactly what he needed, and the gentle treatment made him feel mushy. He laxed himself against Christian even more, pulling his arms around him even tighter for a second, breathing in the scent of his bodywash. Chris must have taken a shower when he got to the apartment.
“Glad you’re here,” muttered Ethan, and Christian made an appreciative little noise.

“You’re welcome,” said Xander softly. He sat on the bed, purposefully looking away as Christian put their clothes on. They left the boxers off. Their dick had softened, but Christian still had a plan and besides that, the thing was sore. They put Ethan’s hoodie on, breathing in the scent of citrus that Ethan used for his conditioner; he must have worn it after a shower, lately. Xander and him were silent, for a while.
“I’m pent up,” said Christian, not looking at him.

Xander traced his thumb over the picture of Christian. He was smiling, a big, shit-eating grin over his features. Xander let his thumb rest over that smile, and squinted. Maybe that hadn’t been Dean, but Xander could imagine that it was.

“That’s insane,” said Zeyn. “Micah, Brother, come look at this!” Zeyn rounded the bar as she watched Xander, and Xander sent her a grin.
“Hi,” he said, trying not to sound as out of breath as he was. “What’s up?”

“Later,” said Chris, and he stepped into Xander’s line of sight, beside Zeyn. Xander noticed two things immediately.
First, that wasn’t Chris.
Second, Dean was looking at him like he was a full course meal.

“You good?” he asked. Dean put his knee on the bed, bumping it into Xander’s thigh and his grip on Xander’s biceps readjusted. He leaned more of his weight on Xander so that he came up a little higher over him, their faces a little closer so that, if Xander felt so inclined, he could lean up and give him a peck on the lips.
Xander did feel so inclined, however, he needed to make sure that the other man was comfortable first.
“I am,” said Dean. “It may take some time, though. This is not something I want to jump into.”
“No, of course not,” said Xander. He reached up, tucking that one stray piece of hair behind Dean’s ear.

“You’ve been pushing yourself too hard, cop,” said Alex, coming forward and leaning himself over Ethan. “So, this can either go two ways. Either you sleep now, and you’re not allowed to get out of this bed for twelve hours except for the bathroom, or, Christian and I can tire you out and you don’t need to worry about sitting in bed all bored out of your mind into the afternoon.”
Ethan swallowed. “Or, secret third option, you can’t make me do anything without consent.”
Alex shrugged. “There is that, too. And we’d respect it. You saying you don’t want to be pampered?”
“Tell me, Ethan,” said Chris, coming beside Alex. Alex moved out of the way slightly, so that they were both over Ethan. “Tell me, are you really planning to go back to your room and try to finish that stupid ass paperwork on no coffee and a hard dick?”
He had a point.
Alternatively: Ethan gets (consensually) sexually bullied into going to sleep. Christian and Author have no regrets. Xander's only regret is that he didn't do this sooner.

“Oh no, what will I do,” said Ethan dryly, and finally, Christian relented, letting Ethan gently knock their foreheads together as his large hand tangled between Christian’s hair, near his undercut. “Is there anything I can do to convince you otherwise?”
“Give me a kiss,” said Christian, the answer coming to his tongue before his brain could process the words. “Then I’ll think about not reporting you.”
