Summary
“This isn’t a game,” Bruce snapped.
“Of course it is! Of course it’s a game!” Joker cackled and splayed his arms out. “I serve, you volley, back and forth, that’s what we do! And you know what? I don’t care.” He spat the words like they were the acid that churned beneath them. “What does it matter to me? You’re my player two, bay-bay! I’m having too much fun! Why would I ever want it to stop?”
“…How long have you known?”
Joker threw his head back, cackling, and shook it on the way back down. “Long enough, but it doesn’t matter. It didn’t then, it doesn’t now. Nothing has to change! Gotham is our arena, the two of us her gladiators. What does it matter what happens when the fight is up? All that matters is the fight.”
or
The Joker keeps making Bruce reconstruct the way he sees Gotham and himself, and it's kind of ruining the political intrigue of this case he's working on.

Summary
With the war between Joker and Riddler heating up to uncomfortable extremes, Bruce Wayne takes it upon himself to help negotiate a cease fire. At first, he was going to hold a dinner at his manor, but Alfred convinced him to try something different.
Now Bruce has woken up in his home, deeply hungover, with precious little memory of the previous night, a chewed up cowl under his bed, and an unconscious clown in his bathtub. It's going to take some real detective work to piece this one together.
And, the most burning question of all: where is the batboat?
