“Seb!” Lewis’s voice was a bit high pitch.
Sebastian continued to smile. “What? I’m agreeing with you.”
Pierre was unsure he’d ever seen Lewis so relaxed. It wasn’t that he was constantly tense, just always on. But, here, with Sebastian, Lewis was cheery. He seemed more free.
“Come on, you can tell me all about your aliens on the way,” Sebastian kicked off the wall and put a hand on Lewis’s elbow, smoothly guiding him.
The two walked in the opposite of where Pierre was standing. Neither acknowledged him. He’s not sure if they had even noted he was there. He can’t believe Charles hadn’t told him that Sebastian and Lewis were....whatever they were.

Lewis’s chest was rising quickly now, thighs trembling, sweat pooling at the base of his spine as his hands moved without purpose, one coming to rest against Sebastian’s ribs while the other caught in the sheet. The contact gave him something solid to concentrate on, although the room seemed less solid each time he looked around it. He should say something. He should ask where he was, what happened, why the hell are you fucking me like this, mate, but when Lewis finally spoke, his voice came low and hoarse.

“Well, go on, say hello to Max, Max,” Lando called, delighted before the joke had even landed. There was an ease to Lando’s mischief, a lightness that made it difficult to object to and impossible to forgive.
“Lando,” Oscar said, dry but not unkind, though his eyes flicked briefly to Max before the warning settled into resignation.
The group laughed again. Max closed his eyes and drew a slow breath, shoulders stilling as the cold settled in his lungs and gave him something simpler to think about.

The plan is created during the winter break after an objectively horrible first season with Ferrari.
Which is to say, Lewis isn’t really thinking straight when he suggests it to Nico. And well, Nico is quite bad at saying no to Lewis, especially after seeing how the season affected him, so when his husband wakes him up at 6 a.m. on a Sunday and says, “I want to come out.”
Nico is more awake than he has ever been in his life.
