Their teammate and most of all, their best friend. The man who’s been alongside them for 4 years. Dabi had him cornered now, back pressed up against the wall. He glared down at the smaller male. “Care to explain?” was all that he spoke, waiting for the blond to do the rest of the talking.
Hawks took a moment, probably trying to piece together what he was going to say. Everything the hero did was calculated, Dabi noticed. It was trained into him. He couldn’t mess up. Dabi didn’t really know what exactly went on at the Commission, but he could make a few guesses just in the way the bird held himself.

Usually when Hawks gets sick he can shake it off quickly; usually he doesn’t even need to give any attention to his health and can hide any ailment from the public view and the commission. He’d learned from an early age how necessary this was. He should have been able to handle this on his own, but his sixty hour week grind coupled with his double agent duties has caught up with him.
OR:
Hawks becomes ill from overwork and from the various demands of his career, and the commission pushes him to his breaking point. Dabi's there to pick up the pieces.

Izuku heard it everyday. The words berated his ears. His villain father and brother wouldn't stop him. He would conquer his dreams. He would be a hero, quirkless or not. He grasped the UA flyer tightly in his hand and quietly snuck downstairs. The estate's door's creaked open loudly, making the young boy wince.
"Where do you think you're going?"
Izuku swung around, his backpack hitting against him. Kai, his brother, stood at the stairs, still in his pajamas. Kai's eyes laid on to the UA flyer. "Izuku..."
Izuku ran. His backpack flopped against him. The flyer flapped in the wind. He sprinted across the estate, laughing slightly at the thrill. He spared a crazed glance behind, seeing lights flicker on in his Father's estate. There was yelling and a commotion as the estate staff awoke. Kai stood motionless on the front steps.
Izuku didn't look back again.
OR Izuku always wanted to be a hero, and his villain family wasn't going to hold him back. Unluckily for him, his past always seems to catch up to him.

A lie that was utterly meaningless in the grand scheme of things.

Kirishima spoke up. “Think about it like hero training,” he said. “There are a lot of different things we can learn from this.” He counted on his fingers, “working with people, protecting civilians, handling unexpected situations, stuff like that.” He pointed at Bakugou. “You had to work with kids during your remedial lessons, right?”
“Mention it again, and I’ll bite off that finger.”
“I’ll harden it and you’ll break your teeth, but anyways,” Kirishima continued over Bakugou, who was in one of his moods, “think of it as a challenge to overcome and work through together, like a training exercise. We just need to,” he slapped a fist into his palm. “Give it all we’ve got!” He cracked his knuckles.
“A very combat-oriented approach to childcare, but I agree!” Iida chopped a hand through the air. “It is our duty to provide as best we can for our classmates while they’re in this state.”
Kirishima had this. “Yeah, let’s parent the fuck out of them!”
Midoriya’s muffled groan was even louder. “We're so bad at this.”

Summary
Denki was always used to wearing a mask around anyone and everyone.
His father had always told him that men don't show their emotions even if that did contradict what Kirishima had said in turn.
Denki knew better than to not listen to his father though he did try his best to avoid his household as much as possible. It wasn't that his family was broken per say.. everyone's family was like that, right?
Everyone felt down, everyone felt alone, everyone has felt the need for everything to just.. stop, right?
Part of him had to know that this was false and that was the reason for the mask that fit oh so right until it didn't.
Things happened in a blur but next thing Denki knew he was under a sea of stars and then yelling piercing the cold night air.
Maybe now, things would get better . . .

Summary
Kaminari Denki was the sunshine of Class 1-A. It was simply a rule of the class, sans maybe Kirishima, he was the certified happy friend, who couldn’t hurt a fly. He was the comedic relief, always there to lighten the mood.
So when everyone saw him run out with a darker expression than even Bakugou, they knew something was wrong.
