“Oh my God,” the child repeats breathlessly, sounding far older than any child his age should sound, unable to tear his eyes away from Satoru. The boy shakes faintly, shock maybe, words a shaky exhale, “it’s really- you’re- you look- this is— oh my God!”
Annnnd there’s really no doubting it now.
Clearly those vivid dreams of war, imprisonment and eleven years of growing up is not the dream Satoru had thought it to be since waking up in the infirmary as a seventeen-year-old student, way back before the source of all his problems defected from Jujutsu society.

(He knows Shoko texts Satoru a lot, knows they kept in contact— and he wonders if she asks him the same question: Did you have a fight?

I'll show you-"“Ahh, my wonderful lovely students! What a beautiful bonding moment!” Gojo exclaimed cheerfully as he placed a hand on each of their shoulders. He gave Megumi a look. It was serious- a rare moment of discipline. “As much as I love to see the team building, it’s curfew. Kugisaki, I’ll walk you to your dorm.” Gojo sent him one last look over his shoulder as he guided Kugisaki back in the direction of the girl’s dormitory. Megumi watched them walk away. There was a slight stomp in her steps. He could see that her hands were clenching and unclenching. He could practically hear her thoughts- thoughts that were without a doubt cursing his very existence. He scoffed and kicked a rock as he turned to go to his own dorm. Megumi let out a groan as he entered the dormitory. The back of his neck hot in irritation.

Summary

"Woah there, pause." Gojo cut him off, clearly more awake now. "Did I hear that right? What do you mean crashed into you while you were in midair?"
"I said what I said. Some guy crashed into me, and that's why I'm asking if the experiment lost two specimens or more."
Gojo rubbed his temples, eyebrows furrowing. "I don't think so. I retrieved as many documents as I could from the lab, but none of them mentioned a second spider or anything similar."
