Summary
Sonic and Shadow are a pair of unlikely friends that manage to perfectly contrast each other. Shadow is aloof, neurotic, and seems to distrust the world around him, due to being reviled and hated by the general populace. Sonic is a friendly, overemphatic hedgehog who wears his heart on his sleeve, crying at every misfortune that befalls anyone, giving him the mocking nickname "Pansy". Despite their major differences, they manage to protect each other and survive among a human-dominated world, one that is already unwelcoming enough to creatures like them. Worst of all, it begins to become impossible to tell who they could really trust, Shadow's theory of demonic possessions apparently becoming true. Any creature they meet in the streets could be a potential demon, the world turning their back on a dying God.
Attempting to stitch what remained of the world together, Shadow makes Sonic into a hybrid of demon and hedgehog, an eldritch being of incredible strength. In a final bid to save humanity, everyone involved in their tragic lives question what they're willing to really sacrifice to solidify society once again.

Summary
Shadow will do all he can to hold and support Sonic when his faith in the world he loves is beginning to falter, but there are days where even Shadow himself feels like it's too hard and painful to go on.
And on those days, Sonic and his other selves return the favor to him, and it doesn't matter how or why. They knew; Sonic never needed a reason to help a loved one in return.
It's what he would've done for him on any other day.

A WIP AU series involving Sonic the hedgehog recovering from his trauma and symptoms of Dissociative Identity Disorder. This both includes G-rated Agere fics involving Sonic's smaller alters and fics that talk a little bit more in-depth about triggering subjects involving recovering from trauma.
Updates for this series will be rare as the author is mainly writing this for therapeutic reasons.

Summary
Waking up in a dismal, dank dungeon, awaiting the day the mad King Nebuch would commence his execution, Shadow only sighed as he begrudgingly accepted his fate, knowing it came naturally with his chosen profession.
Or, his story would've naturally ended there, if it wasn’t for an odd, happy-go-lucky magic-using blue hedgehog who claimed to be the prince of King Nebuch, releasing him from his cell.
His reason?
Shadow wasn’t entirely sure, but he smiled like the blade of the crescent moon, telling him he thought he was "too pretty to die in a place like this."
