“Gwaine no!” Merlin called, rising to his knees in a slow move to intervene, only to collapse on all fours. Gwaines’ hand halted. His strike paused in motion and fury bleeding from his eyes as he kept his attention on Arthur.
“Don’t kill him.” Merlin begged weakly, watching them closely.
Gwaine swallowed thickly, eyes darting around as he assessed his next move. He brought his sword down slowly, to point it at Arthur again.
