After an argument with Athelstan and the decision to send him on a mission that is surely doomed leaves him near death, Ragnar is left wallowing in guilt. And Athelstan is (rightfully) angry, but guilty too for his own reasons. And Lagertha acts as a sensible mediator, of course.

Basically this is a bunch of scenes that I came up with concerning the aftermath of a battle between humans and the army of the dead. In this story Theon has brought some of the ironborn to Winterfell to join the battle and is in the north with them. He will feature pretty heavily in this. This is a bit of an experiment because it's my first time writing a multi chapter fic, and one featuring more than two characters. It's just a collection of semi-connected scenes I could see happening as everybody's regrouping in the north between battles.
