Kim Dokja stirred in his sleep, not relaxing until he unconsciously grabbed his pillow and hugged it to his chest tightly.
In his dream he was lying in a dark void, cold until he felt arms come from nowhere and hold him gently. He was about to run but leaned into the warmth, and hugged back whoever it was.
A bed formed around him and he cuddled the person tightly, not wanting them to let go.
"Stop that. I'll still be here in the morning," a quiet voice said.
He shook his head and hugged them tighter. He started crying into their chest and felt hands run through his hair.
"It'll be okay. I'm still here."
He relaxed after a bit and the dream ended, the comforting presence leaving him.
He woke up, alone in the bed.
"Liar."
Or
Kim Dokja can’t balance his desire for comfort against his hatred for himself that makes him push away everyone he’s close to. Even the one he wants to be around all the time, except that man is relentless in wanting to help him

But then, Kim Dokja starts having strange urges that he can't control. Why does he want to jump into Yoo Joonghyuk's arms? Why does he wish to be held by the regressor? Why does he feel sick at the idea of being left alone?
It must be a disease. Or a shitty scenario scheduled by the constelations. Surely.

Dokja paused in his tracks just as he was about to turn and exit the door, glaring over at the taller man.
"Why not?"
"...It looks disgusting."
Kim Dokja felt his jaw drop at the man’s words. They were literally surviving in an apocalyptic world and this fucker wants to be picky with what he eats?
"Suck my dick you ungrateful sunfish bastard!" He quickly lifted a hand up and flipped Jonghyuk off. "I worked hard to make that food!" Of course, Kim Dokja had not meant those words in a literal sense-- and he assumed the protagonist had also taken it as another one of his small tantrums.
So why did Yoo Jonghyuk suddenly go silent?
** In which Yoo Jonghyuk has had enough of Kim Dokja's childish insults. He decides to take them seriously for once to teach him a lesson.
