But then Scott stopped talking, and Pyro quickly followed suit. The nobleman’s nose scrunched up, his now pointier ears (seriously, how had nobody noticed that? He wasn’t crazy! They just refused to look!) twitched. All that Avid could hear was his own heartbeat. He wasn’t breathing, he wasn’t moving. He refused to let out a single sound. He wasn’t ready, not to go against two of them. Maybe if he’d just come across one of them by themselves, he could have… surely if it was Pyro. Scott he was far more afraid of.
“It sounds like we have company”. Following Scott’s words, everything moved in slow motion. The vampire’s head turned, their eyes locked together, and then Avid was running.
He didn’t know where he was going. There was nowhere for him to run. He was far away from town, outside of any proper path, and, most importantly, nobody believed him. Nobody had tried going after him. He had no allies left. Nobody would have known if he had died.
Avid was going to die.

“Get off!” They began trying to push him off of them with their other arm, but despite Owen’s recent starvation, he was the older and stronger vampire, and Pyro's actions were futile against him.
“Scott!” Pyro yelled, and Owen lifted his head to laugh. “Your Sire is nowhere around, you fool,” he snarled, blood dripping from his chin.

Missa, a knight tasked with an impossible mission, cannot seem to complete his quest to save his life. Literally. But he stumbles into a nice man, who seems to take care of Missa without even asking for him to. The man even offers to go along with Missa to help him on his quest! That's great for him! Maybe he'll get to see Chayanne before he grows up!
OR
A fae (philza), falls in love with a wet cat knight (missa), and they accidently end up married under fae law. Whoops. But Philza doesn't want to force Missa to come to Fairyland to spend the rest of his life there. He wants Missa to choose. So Phil decides to court him the human way. But he's not going to let any other humanoids try and claim HIS husband.

The police force, government officials, their reach went as far as they want it to. From the borders of this city, to cities thousands of miles away. But they weren’t morally corrupt, hospital bills were paid, people’s living standards were taken care of, even the control of crime. They were on top of the world.

Ivan Braginski is promoted to the new boss after General Winter, his father, had to step down due to illness. He is determined the rule his new empire with an iron fist, just like his father. With an annoying blond fucking up his plans, he has a lot more on his plate than expected.
The two may or may not end in a few awkward positions along the way.
