Summary
Eddie is thrown in to the deep end on his second shift at the 118, when an earthquake hits lower Los Angeles.
It is at a collapsing Heat House that he encounters a pregnant, heat-crazed, male omega, who kicks and fights with all he has left as Eddie rescues him. Buck.
Six months later, the US government starts a campaign to provide decorated war veterans with a reward for their service, and Eddie is left shocked to find a far more docile- and notably babyless- Buck kneeling at his front door.

Summary
It was Claire, a girl in his class, who had first broached the subject, who had planted the very idea, which obviously meant all the scheming Christopher had done over the last month was entirely down to her. Besides he didn’t understand what his father could possibly be so upset about? He certainly hadn’t been complaining during their dates. In fact, given he hadn’t once thought to question the situations they found themselves in- even during the candle lit dinner, kind of said it all.

Stiles’ breath hitched just slightly, eyes flicking up to meet Derek’s. “Yeah,” he whispered. “That’s why I listed you.”
There was a pause. The kind that settled deep in the bones. Derek studied him - this man who had grown up and grown strong and carried so much weight in his silence. This man who still managed to look at him with softness.
