Summary
The eggs tasted even better than they looked—fluffy and buttery with just the right amount of salt. Objectively, they were much better than any of the meals he had over the past five years. So why did eating them fill him with revulsion?
“Finney, what’s wrong?”
A tear trickled down his cheek, followed by several more.
“I—”
He swallowed. His shoulders trembled, and he sniffled. Unable to endure the alarmed concern in his father and sister’s eyes, he focused on the plate in front of him.
“I shouldn’t be here.”
And then that ugly, beautiful truth ripped through his skin like a shirt several sizes too small:
“I should be with Al. I want to be with Al.”

After five years of captivity, Finney Blake is finally reunited with his family. He agrees to testify against his kidnapper, but the wounds on his heart run much deeper than the ones on his body, and doing so might not be easy. But just because something isn’t easy doesn’t mean it’s not worth doing.

Summary
“Daddy, do you miss Mom?”
Holly braced for a storm, but her father only lowered the newspaper and tilted his head. “Where’s this coming from?”
“I’m just wondering, since we don’t have any pictures or anything,” she murmured, twisting her napkin. “Sorry I asked, I know it’s stupid.”
She took another bite of scrambled eggs before her mouth could run off some more. Albert folded his paper and set it aside.
“Of course I do, she was a very special girl.” He rested his elbows on the table and clasped his hands together. “But why do I need her when I’ve got you?”
There it was again, that intense, unsettling gaze that made the hairs on the back of her neck stand up. Holly’s eyes lowered to her half-eaten meal, and she shifted in her seat.
The phone began to ring.
**
Holly Shaw's thrilled to finally start middle school, but less enthused with everything that comes with it: eerie dreams of black balloons, the unnerving looks her father’s been giving her lately, the skittish school resource officer who swears she looks like his dead sister.Oh, and that annoying ghost girl who keeps insisting Holly's in danger. That too.

Summary
At the sound of the voice, Finney froze. No. No, no, no. Not possible. No fucking way.
“W-Who is this?” Finney demanded, heart beating rapidly as he clutched the phone tightly in his grip. It had to be some sicko’s prank, there was no way it could be–
There was a sigh from the other end. “Am I that forgettable? Come on, now. You know who I am, Finney.”
There was no forgetting that voice. Fuck. Finney swallowed. “It can’t be…you. You’re dead.”
“Of course I’m dead.” Goosebumps crept across his skin as he heard the chuckle that had long haunted his nightmares. “That doesn’t mean I can’t talk to you! You know this already.”
****
Sixteen-year old Finney Blake finds himself literally and metaphorically haunted by the pedophile who made his life a living hell. Escaping from a man was much easier than escaping from a ghost. Thankfully, he’s not alone this time.

Summary
“Malfoy, Diana!”
That’s not my name. As Diana trudged her way to the stool amidst the whispers, she surveyed the excited faces and felt nothing but contempt for every student, staff member, ghost, and any other thinking entity that inhabited this wretched castle. How many of these Pureblood children had fathers, like her own, who took perverse pleasure in Muggles’ pain? How many Pureblood students felt the same way? How many of these Muggleborns had parents whose memories were modified, like Diana's mother? How many Muggleborns were cheerful only because the Ministry modified their memories?
I hate magic, she thought bitterly as the Sorting Hat was placed gently on her head.
****
A routine spot of Muggle torture in 1980, as well as the memory charm that followed, leads to far-reaching consequences eleven years later that will drastically alter the course of both the Malfoy family and the entire Wizarding World.

Summary
Memories of an earlier, happier time before jealousy dug its way into her heart caused Amy to swallow. There were a lot of things Amy wanted to say to her brother in that moment, a lot of things she should have said: “Thank you for helping me today.” “I’m lucky to have you.” “I’m sorry.” “I love you.”
But instead, all she managed was, “Don’t screw around and waste time. Mom and Dad said they’ll be back by noon.”
Bruce smiled and gave a mock salute before heading back to his room.
Those would be the last words Amy ever said to her brother.
****
Bruce Yamada is kidnapped and suffers through hell at the hands of a pedophilic serial killer. Meanwhile, his sister Amy is left to pick up the pieces of a broken family and endure the difficult task of moving on.
