All of the activity at camp during the days and the shouts and laughter and noise, it was just all so new to him. He didn’t miss Dema of course, but would be lying to himself if he said he didn’t miss the routine. This new life, this new home, it was just… different.

Wilbur gasps for breath behind him.
“-ity,” he rasps. “Qua…ckity.”
It’s just his name again, but this time, Quackity pauses. He turns back and looks at Wilbur, who’s slumped in the fetal position. His eyes are squeezed shut, half-hidden by a new shock of white hair plastered to his sweaty forehead. He shudders — just once, but violently.
Something just as violent breaks in Quackity’s chest.
OR: Quackity finds Wilbur freshly resurrected, but half-dead. Against his better judgement, he brings him back to Las Nevadas to stitch him back together — in more ways than one.
