“She’s not better at sex than you are,” he shot back and it was just his luck that Marci decided that that was when she wanted to answer her phone.
“Lies and slander, Foggy-bear. Remember that time I made you pass out?” she greeted and Foggy winced when Matt narrowed his eyes, his head cocked in the way that said he’d definitely heard what Marci had said.

“When I said I was coming over to visit, I meant for a cuddles and maybe a few drinks, not a booty call and this,” Foggy stated, flapping Matt’s shirt and the way that Matt’s nostrils flared had Foggy narrowing his eyes speculatively.
“I like it when you smell like me,” Matt responded without a hint of shame and this was the man that Foggy had chosen to love. His mother would be appalled, their family was really big on shame and Foggy was starting to think that any hint of embarrassment that Matt had ever showed when they talked about sex was a complete farce.

What Foggy really, really regretted was getting drunk and waking up in Matt’s bed with aches in places he’d never dreamed of having aches. Or to be honest he had dreamed about having aches in those places but after Matt started his serial dating Foggy had given up on those dreams which was pretty close minded of him but he was more than willing to file that as subsection two of regret number three…falling in love with Matt Murdock.

He knew Petey had just broken up with his long-term girlfriend after he realized he’d only stayed with her due to familial pressure. They’d had a fight over his upcoming trip to Spain. He knew that William would soon be off to school in Wales and wasn’t looking forward to it.
But his favourite people to watch and haunt were a pair of mates - childhood friends named Arjun and Jack. The pair had such tremendous ease with one another, and easy banter. They sometimes butted heads - and Charles had been witness to some pretty dramatic fights over the years - but they always came back together. He was pleased to see they were there that night. The pair were drinking and relaxed, and had just started a game of darts.
