Instead of becoming a god again, Apollo dies--seemingly--and ends up in a strange place with fellow dead souls, waiting for the day the world ends.
That's right.

Summary
Apollo grew up on Delos with his mother and sister, sitting in the flowers, playing with the little animals, practicing his instruments, his singing, poetry, archery, and other things, along with Artemis.
Life was peaceful. Beautiful.
Apollo remembered a sunny day, where he was sitting in the grass, watching a shimmery black beetle crawl across the grass, while Artemis frolicked nearby and Leto watched from where she was sitting against a tree.
-
Apollo always valued life. From gods, to nature spirits, to mortals, even to little insects, he always cared for all of them. They all deserved to live. But, being among the Olympians tends to rip that out of you.
OR: The story of how Apollo lost his innocence (yes, again).

Summary
Apollo has a stack of unsent letters in one of his desk drawers. Whenever words that he can't say are begging to come out, in some way, he sits down at his desk and writes, his pen swooping and scratching across the paper. Then, when he is finished, he slips the letter in the drawer, hoping that, when he rereads those letters someday, he is in a better place.
This is a collection of these letters. Some are heartbreaking, some are uplifting, and some are completely different things.
Are you ready for them?

“Who’s the god of homework?”
Annabeth raised her eyebrows. “Thinking about asking for help?”
“Actually, I was thinking of cussing them out, but I suppose asking for help would be more productive,” Percy mused, completely serious.
“Well, I doubt there’s a god of homework, but there’s several gods who could fall into the ‘learning’ and ‘being smart’ category.”
“Like your mom?” He hoped that Athena wasn’t the only one. If he prayed to her for help, she’d be more likely to storm down from Olympus to scold him for not using his head properly, and probably throw in something about him not being good enough for her daughter or something like that.
“Yes, but not just her,” Annabeth said, much to Percy’s relief. “Apollo probably would be your best bet; he’s the god of education.”OR: Percy is having trouble with homework, so he prays to Apollo to help him.

Summary
No one knew how it happened, but out of the blue, Gods began disappearing.
The prayers of mortals and demigods went unanswered for a while, until they try to discover the cause, of what had made the gods go silent (again), and if they can... they could try to fix it.The Underworld is in shambles, and the dead may or may not escape and haunt those who'd done them wrong... and those who'd fought bravely on their lives in a futile attempt to prevent another life from being taken.
The Greek, Roman, Egyptian and Norse universes are in danger, and the heroes have no guidance from the missing gods.
They may get them back. May not. But first, the Lord of the Underworld has to go.

Summary
Prophetic power was one I could have gone without just fine. Even before I was born, snapshots of the future constantly plagued my mind. Paris shooting down Achilles. Alexander the Great’s reign. Joan of Arc’s death. Vincent Van Gogh. Boy, was it confusing when I saw Sombr for the first time.
Anyways, most of those snapshots had been tragedies—which isn’t all that surprising. The Greeks invented tragedy. But it’s safe to say that I had no love for prophecy. Especially not after the whole Python ordeal.
It had been three years since my trials as Lester Papadoupolos. Meg’s fifteenth birthday was coming up soon, and Lityerses had turned “twenty” last week. Georgina had hit the double-digits last month (No, I did not tear up—shut up, Meg). Percy and Annabeth would be finishing their final year of college soon, and Will and Nico would be starting their first. Everything was peaceful.
So imagine my surprise when my beloved Oracle of Delphi possessed me in front of the entire council.

Summary
Hearthstone thought of life as a series of give and take. The more you had, the more you could lose. He remembered learning that over and over again, a lesson engraved in his mind every time his eyes caught sight of that blue pelt.
To him, these rules were the truths of life. Some people never had to abide by them, some sought to break them, but others fell perfectly in line with them. Hearth was someone who couldn’t look at the world and see anything other than numbers. Values. Expenses and paychecks. He remembered looking in his bedroom mirror, trying not to catch glimpses of the red lists in the reflection, repeating sentences to himself over and over again like a mantra.“Everything you have is for someone else. Nothing that belongs to you is yours. Everything you do with your life is for one purpose and one purpose only: to pay off a debt.”
