So while the circus crew is off fighting to meet the ever rising quota, Caine watches, trying to learn what makes an adventure fun. What the crew doesn't know, is that it is only when they've failed to reach the quota, that the adventure will end.

Summary
They were at a spring festival. He was luckier that the colors were better on the eyes, less that everyone around him was talking ecstatically about it and the new objective. It already felt stuffy in there as Caine took pride this time in trying to make the place look and feel more realistic. Jax had to give a small applause as he could feel the oppressing sun beaming on his body already, and everyone was too close without order on how to even stand together.

He hadn’t said anything to Michael, so, technically he wasn’t breaking any rules. Michael ignored the small part of his brain that questioned why Elizabeth couldn’t see Circus Baby.

It was already 9:00 p.m. when Michael, who usually came home much earlier, made his entrance. Something in his attitude was different. Instead of the usual brusqueness and disregard for the rules of the house, he seemed to be enveloped in a kind of calm. He ignored Dad, who was in the living room, and headed straight for him and Elizabeth.
Evan's surprise was total when his brother, with an expression that was halfway between despair and tenderness, hugged them both. It wasn't the kind of gesture she would expect from him, much less after having seen him tease her with that unpleasant mask.
From the corner of the room, William, the boys' father, watched the scene with a mixture of surprise and confusion. The way his eldest son had behaved, the abrupt change in his behavior, and the way he was clinging to his brothers, all of that was a mystery to him. He stopped his reprimand to watch, wondering what had caused such a transformation in his son. The question was drawn in his mind: What had happened for his stupid son to change? Was it a simple emotional reaction, or was there something deeper behind this sudden change?

Elliot could never forget the sight of him, growing all too familiar with the demon that constantly made his life a living hell. These days–weeks, months, years?–he’s grown into something more grotesque, and he grew familiar with that, too. It was befitting of the havoc he wreaked.
He isn’t faced with a monster nor a demon. He’s faced with a child. Small, knees to his chest as he’s curled up against the bed frame, clutching his plush of a red Drakobloxxer for comfort, and even more tears welling in his eyes. Not horribly stretched out to monstrous proportions, no devilish grin melded on his face. The same as Elliot remembers him before they were all taken here.
“Oh my god,” Noob gaped at the sight of him, grabbing onto Elliot’s arm with both of their hands. Their grip is harsh, enough to cut off his circulation if they hold on too long. “Is that–?”
“Go get Builderman,” Elliot tells them. “Now.”
The Spectre gets bored and changes their game up a little bit. The unwilling participants try to grapple with how to handle the sudden shift.
