Summary
Fortune turns away from the Straw Hat Pirates and then all the Straw Hats die one by one, and the life of those left turns to hell. Au in which Wei Wuxiang, despite being an illegitimate member of the fallen royal family, turns out to be a war gift for one of the Lan brothers, Lan Wangji. It's not bad or good, it's not at all, at least at first, until after their first and last heat together, the smell of apples and wormwood mixes with someone else's, sweet, honey and vanilla. He is accused of treason and sent to a cold palace, hoping that he will either succumb to apathy and commit suicide, or spend the rest of it alone, despised and rejected by everyone. Lan Zhan even manages to forget about one of his concubines until, on one of the spring festivals, Jiang Yanli and Jiang Cheng, who have restored their power, demand that their brother be given to them as a sign of goodwill. Lan Xichen agrees. Lan Wangji too. At least he thinks so while for the first time in five years he looks at his husband with a small child in his arms and feels an unbearable need to mark, appropriate, make it his own, so that no one else dares to touch or look at the one who belongs to him. He thinks that he can give up the omega, and the next minute he is ready to start another war so as not to allow Wei Wuxian and their child to be taken away from him.
