"Oh." He said simply, a blank expression on his face. Pogtopia was… a lot. It didn't fill him with the panic that the mention of Dream gave him, it just made a heavy feeling set in his stomach, a feeling of misery and doom, of wishing he had been enough.
Maybe Wilbur would have stayed if he had been enough.

The stories hadn't lied, that was for sure. The king was as beautiful as Tommy had been told. Messy brown curls fell over their maroon eyes, snow white skin contrasting beautifully with the dark blue clothing.
The king glanced down at him, locking eyes. Sapphire blue met ruby red, and if Tommy wondered before if the Essempi knew what red was, he certainly knew now.
Immediately, interest sparked in the king's eyes, his figure straightening out slightly.
"Bring him up to me," The king commanded softly, head tilted to one side.

Wilburs pupils were dilated to the point you couldn't see his red iris anymore. "It's okay sunshine, I'm here, it's okay." Wilbur murmured, planting messy kisses on Tommy's golden curls.
"Wilby, m' cold" Tommy complained, curling closer to his older brother.
"Go to sleep dove, I'll be here for you when you wake up." Wilbur smiled, holding Tommy's hand.
"Okay." Tommy whispered, before falling asleep tangled with Wilbur.
"Hey mate, planning on getting up any time soon?" Phil asked, amused, as he leaned on the door frame.
"No," Wilbur replied, eyes glued on Tommy.

Tommy walked in deeper, getting back into his flow, only for the door to slam shut behind him.
Oh no, it was like every horror movie Tommy had seen, where the protagonist would get locked in the room with the fucking ghost, oh no--
"Hello Red, it's been a long time since I've seen you," Siren said, unnecessarily cheerful.
Nevermind, this was arguably worse than a ghost. It was offensive to ghosts to even compare them to the terrifying being that was Siren, at least ghosts had standards.

"Toms? What are you doing out so late?" Wilbur's sweet voice came from behind Tommy. Tommy spun around to look at his brother.
Wilbur towered over Tommy, brown curls covering one eye. The familiar white streak that painted Tommy's own hair made Tommy scowl. There was a cigarette between Wilbur's fingers, his brother taking a long drag and exhaling.
"Why are you smoking so late?" Tommy shot back, scowl deepening. He hated Wilbur smoking, it was bad for his brother. Wilbur rolled his eyes, crushing the cigarette and watching the dust fall.
"You haven't answered my question yet" Wilbur said, head tilted lazily.
"I was mining." Tommy mumbled, turning his head away.
"For me? Awww, Tommy~" Wilbur cooed, slipping his arms around Tommy's waist.
