Thaumatale AU
Things didn't start or end with Frisk's journey to the Underground, and there's still quite a lot of baggage for the monsters to deal with - much of it involving the human magicians who sealed them there in the first place.
Magic. Determination. Aren't they just different words for the same thing, in the end? Particularly strong-willed humans have the gift of magic, and they've built an entire tradition and culture centered around the idea that if you believe something hard enough, it becomes "true"... and that "truth" has some rather interesting implications for reality, doesn't it?
An AU that explores human magic which clearly takes inspiration from Dresden Files and Bloodborne.
